Frog in a Can (1996)

The first year I made a wrap, I was merely looking for a way to wrap a novelty present in a less conventional way. I found a toy frog squirter and combined that with the idea of stuffing it in a can. Pat had to use a can opener to see what was on the inside. Thus began the tradition of "how am I supposed to open this?"

That year we gave each of the kids a small version of a frog squirter in their stockings. During the ensuing Christmas Day Water Fight, I think the kids got the upper hand, but I could be wrong. We were living on Coolidge Ave at the time.
